Certifications

MaiaZura has partnered with the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) to offer the High Reliability Certification Program. Grounded in evidence-based frameworks and powered by MaiaZura’s immersive, simulation-based learning, this three-tier program turns high-reliability concepts into lasting habits of teamwork, communication, and safety.

Tier 1: High Reliability Associate (HRA)

The High Reliability Associate credential prepares learners to understand core High Reliability Organization concepts and recognize how those concepts support safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Required Tier 1 learning components include:
- MaiaZura's Bizon360 OR Teamwork immersive learning experience
- Reading materials covering High Reliability Organization origins and concepts
- HRA Reflection Activity
- HRA Exam

Tier 2: High Reliability Practitioner (HRP)

The High Reliability Practitioner credential builds on foundational principles introduced in the HRA tier by introducing and reinforcing specific TeamSTEPPS tools through a library of immersive microlearning scenarios. This includes tools such as SBAR, CUS, STEP, and Advocacy and Assertion. This tier is expected to go live in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

Tier 3: High Reliability Culture Leader (HRCL)

The High Reliability Culture Leader credential prepares experienced practitioners to lead safety culture change within a team, unit, or department through organizational learning. Building on the HRP, participants complete required reading by Mazur and Marks along with MaiaZura’s Safety Mindfulness Module and microlessons, which introduce event review, root cause analysis, Just Culture, and systems thinking.
